Casey Newman is a Founding Partner at American Mule Consulting Group.  Although today he acts as an internal advisor to the other partners, his extensive spirits industry experience can be felt throughout the company.  

Early in Casey’s career, he helped open the Red Brick Craft Distillery in Philadelphia while obtaining his Engineering Degree from Drexel University.  From there, Casey accepted a position managing production for national spirits brands such as New Amsterdam Vodka and E&J Brandies for E&J Gallo Winery.  During his time working for Gallo, Casey helped reopen the McCall Distillery, which is one of the largest pot distillation facilities in the United States.  Casey also is the creator of New Amsterdam London Dry Gin which can be found nationally.  Casey then left Gallo to take over managing spirits production for Aurum Sierra Inc and launched Steller-Newman Consulting, which is now known as the American Mule Consulting Group.  

While consulting, Casey successful built and launched dozens of brands and 3 fully operational facilities for his clients.  Highlights of this period of his career include managing Operations, New Product Development and International Sales for the Spirits Investment Partners which owns several national & international brands such as Heaven’s Door Whiskey and Stolen.  During this period Casey also received his MBA from UC Davis.

Currently, Casey is the Senior Vice President of Operations for Lightburn Spirits where he works to build world-class brands and facilities.
